Arpeely is a Data-Science startup, leveraging, data analysis, ML, engineering, multi-disciplinary thinking to gain market edge and exploit hidden opportunities in real-time advertising. Processing over 350k requests per second and serving over 20B sub-second predictions daily, we build and operate Machine Learning algorithms running on the world’s largest Real-time-bidding (RTB) Ad-Exchanges. Arpeely is a Google AdX official vendor and serves clients spanning from startups to Fortune-50 companies.

About You:

As our Senior Data Analyst \ Researcher, you will use your superb data analysis, prediction, research, and automation skills to help build our core targeting and bidding engine, uncover and exploit trends both on a macro level like bidding and competitor landscapes as well as micro-events and user activity. Own processes with short and dynamic cycles from ideation, development to production and hypothesis validation.

Your colleagues, with whom you’ll collaborate closely, will be A-team data scientists and engineers.

What You’ll Do:

Design data-driven strategies and algorithms within the company’s core acquisition engine and deploy them end-to-end

Hypothesize theories, develop algorithms accordingly and prove them in production within hours (instant data gratification!)

Analyze TBs of complex data sets using advanced statistical and ML methods to extract and identify features, relationships, trends, and patterns

Bring HUGE and immediate impact by beating the market and directly affecting company’s financial performance

Own the process end-to-end from research, theorization, strategy development to deployment, outcome analysis and refinement

Enjoy a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced business and work environment within a small and growing organization

Merge business, marketing, and technical knowledge to bring data insights in multiple areas: Bid-landscape, competitors’ activity, user activities, and monetization

Collaborate with a team of A-player researchers and engineers to solve complex data and market problems

    Who we are looking for:

    Independent. Self-starter.

    Strong expertise with complex SQL and analysis tools such as (R, Pandas, Python or equiv.) - Mandatory

    B.A/B.Sc or equivalent, related to Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Army Experience or another related field with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis

    Ability to do statistical modeling, build predictive models and leverage machine learning algorithms.

    Basic web infrastructure knowledge (DNS, Iframe, IP, Referrer, Cookies, UserAgents) - Bonus

    Experience with Ad-tech\e-commerce\internet companies\large user-base companies\SaaS - Big bonus

    Experience with TensorFlow, BigQuery - Big Bonus
