Arpeely

Come [legally] hack with us the data on the largest exchange that’s running our world. Not NASDAQ; the one with way more events - the Global Ads Exchanges, where millions of ads are born and clicked every second.

Step behind the curtain of algorithms and competitors that move $1T of annual budgets. Plunge into a world of ISP-volumes of traffic, sub-second predictions and TBs of live, real-world data. Use cutting-edge analysis, ML, engineering, UX or just plain hacker-like thinking to out-perform the market.

Arpeely is a Data-Science startup, leveraging data analysis, ML, engineering, multi-disciplinary thinking to gain a market edge and exploit hidden opportunities in real-time advertising. Processing over 0.5m requests per second and serving over 20B sub-second predictions daily, we build and operate Machine Learning algorithms running on the world’s largest Real-time-bidding (RTB) Ad-Exchanges.

Controlling the whole user lifecycle from bid, to impression, to click, to funnel experience, to product, everyone at Arpeely has the potential to lead to business breakthroughs on a daily basis. With dozens of daily deployments and quick feedback from our millions of hourly users, we are addicted to fast data feedback loops.

Our lean cross-disciplinary team of engineers, data, UX, PMs and developers work in unison to re-invent market rules and beat the status quo competition.

Arpeely is now at an exciting boiling point. Still bootstrapped and with a lean and mean R&D team, we serve clients spanning from startups to Fortune-50 companies and are set to generate tens of millions of dollars in 2021 - this is an amazing time to join a rapidly growing monster of a company.

    Our Process

We try to conduct the most transparent and respectful process for anyone who is considering joining our team.
    * The overall process takes about 2-3 weeks, while we update on every stage.
    * We will both be able to understand if we are a good fit within the first two calls.

    These are the steps:

    1) Quick call with our talent manager.
Phone call, not Zoom. 10-15 minutes
This call will be about basic follow-up questions about your CV, what's your status, when you are ready to start a new position, etc.

    2) Quick professional call with the positioning owner.
Phone call with VP R&D or relevant team leader. 15-20 minutes.
In this call, we'll dig into what you've done in your last 2-3 positions, tell you about the company and discuss the position.
You will also be asked regarding your compensation range - we wouldn't want to continue if one of us is too off in the range.

    3) Professional or Technical Interview.
In-person or Zoom interview with VP R&D\CTO\CEO depending on the position. Around 60 minutes.
In this meeting, we get to know each other better as people, expand on our previous quick call by drill down into some technical questions and discuss the position as well as first few months on the job. In the end, you'll be able to ask all the questions you want - we want to give you as much information before arriving to a decision.

[3.A] Most applicants are asked to complete a home assignment. Max 3-4 hours of work. We usually have very flexible deadlines as many of our applicants are already employed. This gives us a sense of your strong traits and style. This also gives us good ground for discussion in the face-to-face interview. Senior positions and applicants we actively reached out to are either exempt or will have a tailored task presented to them at a later stage.

    4) HR interview
Depending on position, In-person or Zoom. 45-60 minutes.
Here a non-technical stakeholder gets to know you, your life story.

    5) Offer & Accept. Yay! There should be no surprises here as we got to know each other and all mutual requirements should've been satisfied by this stage.
You'll have a few days to go over the contract (which we keep very human-readable and standard)
After accepting, you will be presented with your start date and onboarding process.

    * If a decision is made not to continue, you will be notified as soon as possible.
